Information Technology Support Technician

About the role

The Information Technology Support Technician provides on‑site technical assistance to ABA Bank staff in Phnom Penh. Working full‑time, the technician ensures desktops, printers and related equipment operate securely and efficiently, enabling employees to perform their duties without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktop computers and printers.
• Perform routine computer repairs, component replacements and preventive maintenance.
• Install, configure, upgrade operating systems and peripheral devices.
• Respond to support tickets, document solutions and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the IT team on incident resolution and system checks.
• Assist with inventory management of IT assets and enforce security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting in a corporate environment.
• Hands‑on ability to install, configure and support desktop computers and printers.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP and LAN/WAN.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear verbal and written communication.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, work independently and document activities accurately.
• Relevant IT certification or diploma; banking experience is a plus.
