Head of Talent Management

About the role

The Head of Talent Management will lead the Talent & Learning function for a leading commercial bank. This senior role is responsible for building an integrated talent and capability framework that drives leadership pipelines, succession planning, and overall organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑wide succession planning frameworks for critical roles.
• Identify, develop, and manage high‑potential talent pools and leadership pipelines.
• Establish talent review governance with senior‑leadership participation.
• Design and execute the bank’s learning and capability‑building strategy, including structured academies for sales, risk, leadership and functional areas.
• Align learning initiatives with business priorities and embed continuous learning into daily operations.
• Assess current and future capability requirements, identify skills gaps and create capability‑building roadmaps.
• Develop metrics to measure learning effectiveness, ROI and impact on productivity, sales performance and risk management.
• Design leadership development pathways and support onboarding of senior hires and expatriate leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 12–18 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Leadership Development or Organizational Development.
• Proven experience leading enterprise‑wide talent and learning initiatives in a large, complex organization.
