Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to design, implement and maintain security policies across the organization. The role involves developing the security roadmap, responding to incidents, and providing threat analysis to protect our digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and publish security policies.
• Develop and maintain the organization’s security roadmap in line with top‑management objectives.
• Assist in creating and improving a standard incident response plan.
• Conduct regular incident response exercises and report results.
• Ensure readiness of incident response teams and coordinate with third‑party investigators when needed.
• Investigate suspected malware, infected systems and network devices, and produce detailed investigation reports.
• Monitor system logs daily to detect and block malicious activities.
• Operate security tools, analyse alerts and provide threat analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity or a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Proven experience implementing security solutions and handling cyber incident response.
• Strong understanding of general network and system architecture.
