Cash and Bank Officer

About the role

The Cash and Bank Officer is responsible for managing all cash and cheque movements, ensuring accurate recording in the accounting system, and supporting daily financial operations. This position works closely with the accounting team to maintain cash flow integrity and meet month‑end closing deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Control petty cash and daily cash outflows based on payment vouchers.
• Collaborate with the Accountant and Accounts Payable to verify and summarize daily payments (cash, check, bank transfer).
• Track the cashbook and ensure supplier payments are supported by proper documentation.
• Request cash to cover monthly credit expenses and avoid cash deficits.
• Perform monthly cash‑book reconciliation with bank statements and physical cash counts.
• Record customer payments accurately in the ERP system.
• Execute daily physical cash counts and deposits to the bank (excluding weekends and holidays).
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• University student in Business Administration or a Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field (preferred).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; up to 1 year of relevant experience is a plus.
• Fast learner, hard‑working, honest, and committed.
• Good command of English (writing, speaking, listening, reading).

Required skills

• Sage Accpac accounting software.
• ERP system for transaction recording.
