Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk Operations will be based on‑site in Phnom Penh, supporting Vattanac Bank’s technology environment. You will ensure the reliability, security and performance of servers, networks and systems while leading daily helpdesk activities for branch and head‑office users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance, promptly addressing incidents and outages.
• Manage hardware and software assets, including server administration and network configuration.
• Coordinate and support IT projects, upgrades and migrations.
• Enforce IT policies, security standards, backup and recovery procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and asset inventories.
• Oversee helpdesk operations, guide staff and ensure timely ticket resolution.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver effective IT services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft or Cisco (advantageous).
• Experience in banking or other regulated industries and familiarity with IT governance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑task environment.
