Assistant Distribution Center Operations

About the role

The Assistant, Distribution Center Operations supports DKSH’s warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position helps maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence within the distribution centre.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all warehouse tasks in line with DKSH Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
• Optimize daily warehouse space to enable smooth receipt of new shipments.
• Unload incoming containers, verify quantities, batch numbers and expiry dates, and put away items to the correct storage locations.
• Execute pick‑and‑pack operations following FIFO and FEFO rules to protect product quality and traceability.
• Participate in cycle counts with cross‑functional teams to keep inventory accurate.
• Support efficient picking through teamwork and disciplined process adherence.
• Maintain 5S, workplace safety, and security standards at all times.
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Required profile

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of distribution‑center, distribution and transportation processes.
• Proven hands‑on experience in warehousing, inventory management and pick‑and‑pack functions.
