Senior Project Assistant – Cambodia Resident Mission

About the role

The Asian Development Bank’s Cambodia Resident Mission is seeking a Senior Project Assistant to support project and technical assistance implementation. The role provides operational and logistical support to project teams, ensuring compliance with ADB’s administrative procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project-related correspondence and ensure compliance with ADB’s administrative instructions.
• Arrange logistics for internal and external meetings, missions and travel.
• Monitor implementation performance against targets and advise team leaders on discrepancies.
• Maintain and update project and technical assistance databases (eOps, SovOps) with accurate data.
• Oversee technical assistance processes, including consultant selection, claim processing, contract variations, budget monitoring and data collection for reports.
• Assist in preparing the Project Administration Manual by gathering and consolidating data for various sections.
• Maintain electronic and physical project records for easy retrieval and document flow tracking.
• Provide guidance on work‑area procedures, guidelines and formats, and cover for other operations assistants as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, social science or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of professional experience providing administrative and operational assistance, preferably supporting multilateral technical assistance, loan or grant projects.
• Experience working with government officials and development partners.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and the local language.
