Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services for the company in Cambodia. This full‑time, onsite position requires close collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new suppliers for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms, and payment conditions for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis, and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and manage supplier and price databases, ensuring accurate records.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts, and quotations to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance.
• Document all procurement activities in accordance with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and meet strict deadlines.
• Good negotiation and analytical abilities.
