Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance of goods and services for the company. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, the role ensures timely delivery, compliance with specifications and cost‑effective procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and clearance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
