Senior Merchandiser

About the role

Centric Brands is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to lead apparel production management across its global supply chain. The role ensures the right quality, vendor, price and on‑time delivery while collaborating with teams in Hong Kong, China, New York and local factories.

Key responsibilities

• Manage apparel production, guaranteeing product quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors, factories and internal teams to resolve quality issues and delivery delays.
• Conduct regular meetings with China and New York production teams to review status and address concerns.
• Visit key supplier mills to develop relationships, allocate capacity and secure reservations.
• Prepare impactful product presentations and host customers at Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.
• Work with the China Merchandising team to deliver accurate samples, competitive quotes and on‑time orders.
• Review new developments with the Hong Kong Technical team to ensure quality standards.
• Set performance goals, conduct reviews and support professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven merchandising experience, preferably in handbag manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Adobe products.
