Reporting Officer

About the role

The Reporting Officer will support the procurement and logistics team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the delivery of goods and services. This role ensures smooth coordination with suppliers, customs agents, and internal departments to maintain efficient supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new markets for goods and services and evaluating supplier specifications.
• Gather supplier quotations, perform quote analysis, and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to confirm timely delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, ensuring accurate records.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns, coordinating resolutions with relevant parties.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts, and quotations for departmental approval.
• Collaborate with transport agents and customs departments to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment coordination, and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement practices in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Understanding of Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Experience with logistics coordination and customs clearance procedures.
