Remote C Engineer – Hourly Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced C Engineer to work remotely on an hourly‑paid basis. You will review AI‑generated C code, low‑level system designs and technical explanations, and produce high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step reasoning for complex engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and model responses.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve accuracy, fluency and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or bias and validate reliability.
• Review AI‑generated C code, identify logical, memory, concurrency or performance errors.
• Fact‑check technical information and write clear explanations and model solutions.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing production C software for systems, embedded or performance‑critical applications.
• Expert‑level proficiency in C, including deep knowledge of pointers, memory management and undefined behaviour.
• Strong background in concurrency, operating systems, hardware interaction and performance optimisation.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) with ability to produce clear technical documentation.
