Finance Supervisor

About the role

The Finance Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role coordinates payment processing, bank‑related activities, and supports both internal and external audit functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting activities, including staff reimbursements, employee advances and payment settlements.
• Review and verify supporting documents, enforce payment controls and ensure payments are made to authorized beneficiaries.
• Maintain proper documentation, record retention and handle bank account opening, signatory updates and internet banking management.
• Ensure accurate general ledger entries, proper cost allocation, budget coding and financial reporting treatment.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and balance‑sheet item verification.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control policies; support audit activities and address findings.
• Identify, investigate and escalate suspicious or unusual transactions.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and accounting policy enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate financial policies.
• Ability to manage payment controls, bank relationships and documentation procedures.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Analytical mindset to investigate irregularities and recommend process improvements.
