About the role
The Truck Scale Staff provides essential support for inbound and outbound vehicle weighing operations while handling administrative and logistics tasks. This position ensures accurate weight recording, smooth coordination with multiple departments, and proper documentation of all transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the truck scale according to standard operating procedures, verifying truck, driver, supplier/customer, and product details.
- Record gross, tare, and net weights; prepare weighing tickets and bills, obtain required signatures, and maintain complete transaction records.
- Coordinate with Security, Sourcing, Production, Warehouse, QA/QC, Logistics, and Cashier to facilitate receiving and dispatch.
- Reconcile daily weighing transactions and submit reports to the supervising manager.
- Update purchasing or selling prices only after obtaining proper approvals.
- Assist with document preparation, data entry, filing, reporting, and other administrative activities.
- Support transportation scheduling, collect invoices from logistics providers, verify billing completeness, and submit billing packages for review.
- Maintain organized records of service‑provider bills and approval status to avoid duplicate submissions.
- Follow company SOPs, safety rules, 5S principles, and internal control requirements; report any discrepancies or unsafe conditions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Management or a related field.
- Experience in truck‑scale operations, administration, logistics or factory environments is an advantage.
- Strong numerical accuracy, document‑control ability, and capacity to work under operational pressure.
- Honest, responsible, organized, and able to communicate and coordinate effectively.
