About the role
The Transportation Assistant supports the transportation section by monitoring daily operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining safe loading practices. This role works closely with users and system consultants to improve processes.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange trucks for delivery based on the company’s daily sale plan.
- Follow up closely on the pickup truck and take necessary actions to prevent late goods.
- Visually inspect all loading trucks and take necessary actions to prevent unsafe loading regarding product quality and transportation.
- Actively be involved in the maintenance of all trucks and equipment.
- Assist in making, reviewing, and updating all transport reports, processes, and work instructions.
- Perform other tasks assigned by superiors and management.
Required profile
- Monitor, support and solve daily transportation operations.
- Train users on daily operation processes, improvement and development.
- Collaborate with system consultants to address challenges and implement improvements.
