Tax Supervisor

About the role

The Tax Supervisor leads all tax‑related activities within the finance function, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting and strategic tax planning. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support finance operations, process optimisation and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax activities, including planning, reporting and payment processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax returns and payments.
• Monitor tax legislation developments and communicate relevant updates to internal teams.
• Guarantee full compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities, providing actionable advice.
• Conduct research and analysis of tax laws, regulations and legislative changes.
• Provide tax planning advice and strategic recommendations to management.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with other functions to evaluate tax implications of business decisions.
• Support finance‑led transformation initiatives and optimise finance processes, templates and workflows.
• Assist with day‑to‑day financial operations such as payment processing, bookkeeping and account reconciliations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in tax compliance, reporting and planning.
• Ability to identify tax risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
