Supply Chain Manager (Merchandiser) – Up to $3500

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager (Merchandiser) to lead production planning, materials management, purchasing, and export operations. This urgent position offers a competitive compensation of up to $3,500.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production planning activities, develop schedules based on forecasts and orders, and monitor progress to address material shortages or scheduling issues.
• Oversee material requirements planning (MRP), manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, and implement control processes to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, tools, packaging, equipment, and services; negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
• Supervise packaging and invoicing processes, verify export documentation, and collaborate with finance for accurate billing.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop supply‑chain KPIs, and apply POLCA and QRM methodologies to enhance delivery performance.
