Supervisor, Learning & Development

About the role

The Supervisor, Learning & Development will join Chip Mong Retail in Phnom Penh to design, deliver and oversee learning initiatives that strengthen employee capabilities across the organization. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building a culture of continuous improvement and aligning training with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses and translate findings into actionable learning programs.
• Develop curricula, training materials, and blended learning content for retail and customer‑facing competencies.
• Facilitate in‑person and virtual training sessions, as well as onboarding programs for new hires.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Coach line managers on people‑development practices and ensure compliance with training standards.
• Collaborate with department heads to align learning initiatives with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess needs, interpret data, and measure program impact.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating sessions and presenting to stakeholders.
• Experience designing curricula and managing learning projects.
• Understanding of retail sales processes to develop relevant competencies.
• Team‑management experience coordinating trainers and participants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or related field.
• Prior experience in learning & development, talent management or retail training is advantageous.
• Organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
