Senior Large Business Loan Officer

About the role

The Senior Large Business Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and managing large business loan clients. The role involves thorough credit analysis, underwriting, and ensuring high loan quality while providing tailored financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of large business loan clients in line with credit policy.
• Collect and verify all required documentation for loan applications, including financial statements and credit histories.
• Conduct site visits to assess business premises, collateral, and loan purpose.
• Prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Reports with financial analysis for senior approval.
• Execute loan contracts, arrange timely disbursements, and monitor repayment performance.
• Perform regular post‑disbursement reviews, ensure compliance with covenants, and manage delinquent accounts.
• Cross‑sell additional banking products and act as a relationship manager for client retention.
• Stay updated on new loan products and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in business banking or large‑business loan underwriting with a proven track record.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
