Senior Field Sales Executive (Phnom Penh)

About the role

Danone Specialized Nutrition Cambodia is looking for a Senior Field Sales Executive based in Phnom Penh. The role works closely with the distributor sales team to run monthly sales action plans and programs, increase the effectiveness of field operations in the assigned area and build strong customer relationships so that products are visible, available and activated in every outlet category.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, track and follow up daily with the distributor sales team to implement monthly sales action plans and programs that meet sales targets.
• Ensure sales activities in the assigned area are executed well, including product portfolios, marketing display set-ups, point-of-sale materials and in-store merchandising.
• Build and maintain good business relationships with customers and regularly visit the trade outlets.
• Give timely feedback on sales action plan execution and development areas through daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
• Support the Field Sales Manager with continuous improvement of sales processes, plans and customer satisfaction, and consolidate team reports and market insights for business decisions.
• Partner with distributors to improve sales effectiveness, service quality and operational performance, and monitor sales performance against targets using company reporting tools.
• Support sales forecasting and planning, and assist the Field Sales Manager with strategic initiatives and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Field Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• At least 2 years of direct experience with trades and distributors.
• FMCG knowledge.
• Able to communicate at all levels, proactive, decisive, analytical, and able to lead a large field sales team.

Required skills

• Good command of English, written and spoken, and Khmer.
• Computer skills with MS Office applications.
• Negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
