Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

Lead Product, Process, and Test Engineering teams to support electronics manufacturing operations in a factory setting. Ensure new product introduction, production readiness, process improvement, and test performance meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams, handling resource planning, training, and performance management.
• Manage new product introduction, engineering builds, production transfers, and readiness for mass production.
• Oversee product specifications, bills of materials, engineering changes, and manufacturing documentation.
• Drive process development and optimization across SMT, PCBA, and final assembly operations.
• Oversee test development, validation, and maintenance, including ICT and FCT.
• Improve production yield, productivity, equipment utilization, and manufacturing costs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product, process, and test failures.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers to resolve technical issues and meet delivery commitments.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, equipment requirements, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing, with 5+ years in engineering management.
• Strong leadership, project management, and customer communication skills.
• Good command of English and willingness to work onsite in Phnom Penh.
