Senior eMerchant Acquisition Specialist

About the role

ABA PayWay is looking for a Senior eMerchant Acquisition Specialist to accelerate growth by signing high‑value merchants and nurturing long‑term partnerships. You will combine strategic prospecting with AI‑driven insights to boost sales performance and ensure seamless onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage high‑potential merchants, delivering product presentations and payment consultations to meet growth targets.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, coordinating with Technical, Operations, and Risk teams for smooth integration.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with merchants and partners through regular follow‑ups to drive sustained transaction volume.
• Utilise AI tools and digital platforms to automate reporting, conduct market research, and apply data‑driven insights.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and merchant performance to craft business cases and growth strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technical, and Support departments while staying current on fintech trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, FinTech, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, merchant acquisition or business development, preferably in banking or payments.
• Fluent in English and Khmer, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort working under pressure.
