Purchaser – Retail Buying Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Purchaser to lead the buying strategy for our home‑center product range in Cambodia. The role involves market research, supplier selection and ensuring compliance with company policies while supporting store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research on retail competitors and trends to inform product selection.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with potential suppliers, ensuring reliability and competitiveness.
• Maintain transparent purchasing transactions, verify supplier licences and manage documentation.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports and coordinate with store operations to monitor product performance.
• Support administrative tasks related to invoices, account setup and supplier communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in retail purchasing, merchandising or related areas, preferably with household goods, electronics, furniture or home improvement.
• Ability to communicate in English for business purposes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and responsibility mindset.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
