Senior Assurance Auditor

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Assurance position in Phnom Penh. The role supervises audit fieldwork, manages relationships with client personnel and takes ownership of engagement resource planning, with mentoring and coaching of staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assurance staff during audit fieldwork
• Manage productive working relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
• Take ownership and responsibility for engagement resource planning
• Keep up with professional development and regularly expand technical competence
• Mentor, coach and assist staff in reaching their full potential

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• ACCA-qualified or CPA designation viewed favorably
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with ISA-based external audit; experience with an international firm viewed favorably
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Banking and other financial institutions experience is an added advantage

Required skills

• Sound computer literacy: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential
• Ideally good project management and multitasking skills
• Ideally good interpersonal and communication skills
