Senior Asset & Property Officer

About the role

The Senior Asset & Property Officer will oversee all company assets, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and timely maintenance across ChokChey Finance locations. This position safeguards resources, extends asset lifespan, and supports operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date Asset Register for properties, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage the full asset lifecycle: acquisition, tagging, assignment, transfers, and disposal.
• Conduct regular asset audits (monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual) and prepare inventory reports for management.
• Ensure assets are barcode‑labeled or tagged and recorded in the Apsara system within three business days of any change.
• Coordinate repair and preventive maintenance activities for office equipment, machinery, and property assets.
• Work with vendors and service providers to schedule and complete repairs on time.
• Track maintenance history, assess cost‑effectiveness of repairs, and recommend replacements when needed.
• Manage stock movements between headquarters, branches, and departments with proper documentation.
• Support internal departments with asset‑related requests and assist in budget preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Property.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Experience in asset management, inventory control, or property maintenance is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Apsara asset management system.
