Senior Accounting Officer – Retail Finance

About the role

The Senior Accounting Officer will ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales and cash transactions across all emart24 stores. This position supports franchise reporting, audit activities, and the continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes within a fast‑growing retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily sales transactions from all emart24 stores, verifying cash sales reports against system records.
• Control daily store sales deposits and ensure timely collection and bank crediting.
• Prepare, review, and maintain daily and monthly sales reports for franchise reporting requirements.
• Reconcile sales reports with mall operators and submit semi‑monthly sales information.
• Perform monthly reconciliation between LSNAV sales records and Jet Reports.
• Investigate cash discrepancies, resolve overages or shortages, and monitor cash collections.
• Process and reconcile sales transactions from third‑party aggregators and e‑wallet platforms (e.g., E‑GetS, Foodpanda, Go24).
• Maintain accounts receivable schedules and ensure timely collection from franchisees, malls, aggregators, and other partners.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, and tax authorities to provide required documentation.
• Support quarterly and annual audit activities by preparing reconciliations and schedules.
• Assist in improving AR processes, internal controls, and reconciliation procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, sales administration, or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
