Secondary Chinese Teacher (Mandarin) – International School

About the role

Invictus International School in Phnom Penh is seeking a dedicated Secondary Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher to join its bilingual international programme. The role involves delivering the Mandarin curriculum to secondary‑level students (Year 7‑13) within a modern, student‑centred learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Mandarin lessons in line with the school’s international curriculum.
• Maintain a classroom size of up to 25 students, ensuring active participation and inclusive learning.
• Utilise modern teaching methods, differentiated instruction and appropriate educational tools.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑curricular projects and support holistic student development.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and communicate with parents as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Qualified teacher status with at least six years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in an international school setting is an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• High proficiency in English.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
