Relationship Manager – Deposit Services

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Deposit Services will be responsible for acquiring new RSME (Retail Small and Medium Enterprise) clients, managing existing non‑lending relationships and driving deposit growth. You will work closely with branch teams and other business units to identify cross‑selling opportunities and support the bank’s financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Market and acquire new RSME clients for deposit products.
• Maintain and grow existing non‑lending client relationships to increase revenue.
• Collaborate with branch and other units to capture upstream and downstream business opportunities.
• Develop and implement business development and cross‑selling strategies for the bank’s full product suite.
• Gather and maintain up‑to‑date market information to inform branch marketing plans.
• Support the Head of Business Center in monitoring RSME accounts and driving business performance.
• Package banking products and services to meet customer expectations.
• Handle customer complaints related to RSME business and ensure high standards of service.
• Identify competency gaps and coach junior staff on basic credit and sales skills.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relationship management or business development within banking or a sales‑focused environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups to manage customer relationships.
• Comprehensive understanding of bank products and services relevant to the target client segment.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to a demanding role.
