Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, drive revenue targets and collaborate closely with Branch Managers, Regional Managers and Business Development & Distribution teams. The role focuses on building strong relationships with bank partners and ensuring smooth operations for life‑insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide life‑insurance solutions to premier segments, including deposit and commercial loan customers.
• Leverage internal and external networks to acquire new‑to‑bank customers for insurance products.
• Enhance existing relationships by offering additional facilities and managing life‑insurance solutions.
• Train, coach and supervise the sales team to achieve insurance sales targets.
• Work with branch sales and service teams to design innovative product solutions that meet clients’ protection and long‑term savings needs.
• Maintain a positive working environment and uphold a culture of professionalism, integrity and customer‑centricity.
• Undertake relevant training and personal development as mapped by the HR department.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a financial‑industry sales role (bank or insurance preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in bancassurance sales is highly preferred; experience from banking, transport, pharmaceutical, FMCG, hospitality or IT is also considered.
• Self‑driven, highly motivated with strong leadership and influencing abilities.
• Proven track record in sales and people management.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
