QR Merchant Acquisition Consultant

About the role

The QR Merchant Acquisition Consultant will drive merchant sales for QR banking products, delivering a friendly and professional experience to customers. Working from the Phnom Penh branch, you will meet sales targets through outdoor sales activities and build lasting relationships with merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outdoor sales plans to acquire new merchants and achieve individual sales targets.
• Provide consultative sales service, matching QR products to customer needs.
• Collect and verify required documentation in line with the Bank’s Standard Operations Procedure.
• Prepare merchant agreements and support underwriting activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product set‑up and resolve merchant issues promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with acquired merchants for retention and cross‑selling.
• Report daily, weekly and monthly sales activities and adjust action plans as needed.
• Monitor competitor activities and propose new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field (fresh graduates accepted).
• Minimum one year of experience in merchant sales, outdoor sales or a similar banking role.
• Fluent in Khmer and English, with strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of bank operations, card operations, risk management and relevant regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
