QC Manager (Manufacturing – Steel)

About the role

The Quality Control Manager will lead the QC team in a steel manufacturing environment, ensuring that all construction works, materials, and finished products meet the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and inspection plans.
• Lead and supervise the QC team, assigning daily inspection responsibilities.
• Inspect construction works, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality‑related documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify defects, and coordinate material inspection, sampling, testing, and approval.
• Identify non‑conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain QC records, inspection reports, testing results, and NCR documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants on quality matters.
• Report quality performance and major issues to management and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QC/QA, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or building materials.
• Previous experience as a QC Manager, QC Supervisor, or Quality Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection, testing, and construction standards.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Good command of Khmer and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing and managing quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
