Purchasing Officer

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for Garden City Water Park, ensuring that all goods and services required for daily park operations are sourced, ordered and delivered on time. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Phnom Penh, working closely with operations, finance and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions and prepare accurate purchase orders.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations and compare prices and terms.
• Support contract negotiations in line with company policies.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with operations and finance teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of purchases, suppliers and contracts.
• Analyse purchasing data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including requisition handling and order preparation.
• Experience in contract negotiation and supplier evaluation.
• Analytical skills for pricing assessment, inventory monitoring and cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for internal and external collaboration.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic office software and familiarity with purchasing or inventory management systems.
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain or purchasing; hospitality or entertainment experience is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field preferred.
