Project Finance Controller

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Project Finance Controller to oversee financial performance, budgeting and risk management across its business units. The role will partner with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly business performance evaluations and operational management reports for senior management.
• Conduct periodic financial analysis, forecasting and develop action plans to improve operational performance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, set financial targets, design metrics and evaluate performance.
• Recommend business models, highlight risks and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Establish operational mechanisms for end‑to‑end business performance management, including KPI design and decomposition of objectives.
• Partner with project teams to improve project management quality and ensure proper execution of estimation, budgeting, accounting and performance analysis.
• Identify and manage risks related to business authenticity, closure and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
