Project Director – Lead Portfolio Delivery

About the role

The Project Director will lead the entire project portfolio, ensuring successful delivery across cost, time, quality, safety and profitability. This senior position aligns all departments under a unified execution strategy and acts as the primary decision‑maker for project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall project execution strategy, translating company goals into actionable plans.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and profitability; oversee contractual obligations and commercial risks.
• Control project schedules with the planning team, approve recovery plans and ensure critical milestones are met.
• Guarantee technical works meet standards, review major technical risks and collaborate with technical managers and supervisors.
• Identify and mitigate major financial, technical, legal and operational risks, approving contingency actions as needed.
• Engage with government authorities and regulatory bodies, managing approvals and stakeholder relationships.
• Review and approve monthly progress, financial and risk reports, making key executive decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in construction or large‑scale project management.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑disciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
