Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The company is seeking an Operator to support procurement, shipment and customs clearance activities for imported goods and services in Phnom Penh. The role involves assisting with market research, supplier management and ensuring timely delivery in line with internal requests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new market sources for goods and services and reviewing specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotations, prepare quote analyses and support management approval processes.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update supplier and price databases and keep records of quotations, purchase orders and service contracts.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and customs clearance, ensuring timely processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork, negotiation and analytical abilities, and ability to work under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• English proficiency – written and verbal.
