Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Shipment Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and logistics functions for the company. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, the role ensures that goods and services are sourced, ordered and delivered efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotations, prepare quote analyses and obtain management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order delivery and service performance.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, technical specifications, Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with mechanical or electrical engineering concepts is a plus.
