Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Shipment Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and import logistics of goods and services for our organization in Phnom Penh. You will act as a liaison between internal departments, suppliers and customs authorities to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new market sources for goods and services and review specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotations, conduct quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order fulfillment and service delivery.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and service contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and customs clearance, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement practices in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Excellent teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
