Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to support our product sourcing and supply chain operations. The role involves selecting products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and select products based on customer needs and business requirements.
• Identify new suppliers, negotiate price, quality, and terms.
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Coordinate ordering, purchasing, and delivery processes.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, and lead times.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier and product information.
• Analyse product costs and support margin and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product supply.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or merchandising.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and solid analytical skills.
• Good commercial awareness with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
