Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the planning, sourcing, negotiation and purchase of goods and services for multiple business units. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality standards, timely delivery and compliance with company policies across diverse sectors such as furniture retail, cabinetry manufacturing, and chemical supply.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Source local and international suppliers, evaluate quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, conduct performance monitoring and risk assessments.
• Analyze market trends, drive cost‑saving initiatives and monitor procurement budgets.
• Collaborate with operations, sales and warehouse teams for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements and legal regulations, especially for imported goods.
• Coordinate with finance, logistics, production and project teams to support inter‑company procurement.
• Oversee delivery schedules, manage logistics agents and resolve supply disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing or materials procurement preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and analytical abilities.
• Solid understanding of costing, budgeting and market analysis.
• Knowledge of import procedures and supplier contracts is an advantage.
