Pre-Sales Network and Security Engineer

About the role

Luminix is seeking a Pre‑Sales Network and Security Engineer to join its on‑site team in Cambodia. You will work closely with the sales organization to translate customer requirements into robust network and security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare solution proposals and detailed bills of materials for client projects.
• Design network and security architectures, including diagrams and documentation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof‑of‑concept deployments.
• Respond to technical inquiries, support tenders and RFPs, and coordinate with vendor partners.
• Stay up‑to‑date with networking and cybersecurity trends and provide feedback to improve service offerings.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs) and enterprise equipment (routers, switches, wireless).
• Solid understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and access control.
• Experience in pre‑sales activities: solution design, proposal development, technical presentations, and PoC implementations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cambodia and travel to client locations as needed.
