Operations Executive – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Operations Executive is a newly created position responsible for overseeing and optimizing freight‑forwarding operations across all transport modes. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving operational efficiency to support DP World’s logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day freight‑forwarding activities, including import/export processes for sea, air, road, rail and warehousing.
• Prepare complete clearance documentation required for shipments.
• Monitor shipment status and provide best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Drive operational results for container services, balancing service quality and cost.
• Handle vendor invoicing and close job files.
• Address customer claims, complaints and queries proactively.
• Collaborate with the sales team on customer relationship management and new service implementation.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification with 1‑2 years of freight‑forwarding operations experience.
• Strong service mindset and ability to resolve customer issues.
• Good understanding of international shipping processes.
• Effective communication in English and Cambodian.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and perform under pressure.
• Adaptability to ambiguous, newly‑established environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with IT applications used in logistics.
