Montessori / Early Years Teacher (Full-time, Phnom Penh)

About the role

EDU Early Years School, a new early childhood institution in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, is seeking passionate Montessori or Early Years Teachers. This full‑time, on‑site position involves designing and delivering age‑appropriate lessons that follow Montessori and early years pedagogies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain an engaging classroom environment aligned with Montessori or early years principles.
• Plan and implement individual and group learning activities.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s progress, adapting instruction as needed.
• Communicate regularly with families, attend parent meetings, and provide development updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and participate in staff training.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and child‑centered school culture.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in education, preferably with experience in Montessori or early years settings.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or a related field.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with children, families, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Organizational reliability and a child‑centered approach to classroom management.
