Marketing Officer – Event & Student Recruitment

About the role

The Marketing Officer will design and execute marketing campaigns and events that showcase Canada as a premier study destination. Working closely with the Country Representative in Cambodia, you will drive brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and support student recruitment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver education fairs, university roadshows, school visits, seminars, workshops, visa talks and pre‑departure sessions.
• Coordinate both online and offline events, handling venue booking, registration, promotional material production and on‑site support.
• Develop and launch multi‑channel marketing campaigns, create content for social media, brochures and student success stories.
• Design lead‑generation initiatives targeting students, parents and educational institutions, and support seasonal intake and scholarship promotions.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, student clubs and community partners, facilitating joint outreach activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, events, student recruitment or education consultancy.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva.
• Experience using Adobe design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
