Market Analyst

About the role

The Officer, Market Analyst identifies business opportunities, conducts market research, supports sales growth initiatives, builds client relationships and contributes to business strategies that expand the organisation's market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Support the preparation and implementation of business development plans and sales strategies.
• Identify new markets, customer segments and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and business reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and growth.
• Monitor business performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams on projects and maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing or related areas.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Good analytical and market research abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
