Manufacturing Excellence Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Excellence Engineer will drive factory efficiency through line balancing, layout optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management System (TQMS) practices, while empowering vendors and factories with practical training.

Key responsibilities

• Own and govern the Continuous Improvement (C.I.) Playbook across partner and KAS supplier factories.
• Lead rollout of C.I. standards, ensuring compliance with all clauses, methodologies and minimum requirements.
• Conduct factory assessments using the ME Scorecard and BRAG rating, produce detailed reports and corrective‑action road‑maps.
• Design, deliver and certify training modules on Critical Path Management, Production Planning, TQMS, Lean, Six Sigma, Supermarket System and Industrial Engineering tools.
• Coach factory management and industrial engineers to build a sustainable Lean culture.
• Identify and implement process innovations, AI‑driven digitalisation, and machine upgrades to raise productivity and reduce cost.

Required profile

• Proven experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering or manufacturing excellence.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma and Total Quality Management.
• Demonstrated ability to assess factories, develop corrective‑action plans and monitor implementation.
• Excellent training and coaching skills for both classroom and practical workshops.
