Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will design, develop and optimise manufacturing methods to ensure products meet design specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document detailed manufacturing procedures, process flows and operation instructions based on product design and material composition.
• Select appropriate tools, machinery and technologies for each process to maximise efficiency.
• Plan material and process flow, supporting cost calculations for new product enquiries.
• Create samples and prototypes, and generate related documentation such as initial sample reports for customers.
• Assist production sites with capacity, layout and equipment planning, and lead new‑product‑development work circles.
• Provide leadership and development for subordinate staff and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• Minimum five years experience in bags or garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016) and manufacturing processes.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database tools.
