Manager, Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Data Scientist to lead our data science team in designing, building, and deploying advanced analytics and machine‑learning solutions. The role combines technical expertise with people‑management to drive data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define data and business understanding, collect and prepare relevant datasets.
• Perform data exploration, feature selection, engineering, and model building.
• Optimize models through hyper‑parameter tuning, cross‑validation, and evaluation.
• Deploy models into production and maintain AI/ML environments.
• Present findings to stakeholders and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Manage junior and senior data scientists, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with BI tools, programming (Python/R), statistical analysis and machine‑learning.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Big Data technologies.
• Familiarity with T24 core banking, mobile banking and NBC systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, research and creative thinking abilities.
