Loan Officer – Tractor & Big-Ticket Loan Assessment

About the role

Mango Finance PLC is seeking a Loan Officer to lead credit assessment for tractor and other big‑ticket financing products. The role combines detailed credit analysis, on‑site inspections, and close collaboration with dealers and sales teams to ensure timely, compliant loan disbursements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit assessments for tractor and agricultural equipment loans, verifying income, collateral condition, and repayment capacity.
• Perform on‑site inspections of tractors, machinery, and project locations when required.
• Ensure all loan files comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with dealerships, vendors, and customers to validate information and finalize loan disbursements.
• Consolidate and report daily, weekly, and monthly loan origination and disbursement data across regions.
• Generate reports on sales volume, loan utilization, approval rates, and delinquency trends.
• Track performance against targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Liaise with showroom teams, regional sales, and dealer partners to ensure smooth processing.
• Support front‑line staff on loan criteria, required documents, and pre‑screening practices.
• Identify risk areas in applications, flag non‑compliant or fraudulent documentation, and keep files audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Agriculture or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in credit assessment, preferably with vehicle or agricultural equipment loans.
• Strong knowledge of tractor and agricultural machinery financing and asset valuation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; familiarity with a Core Banking System is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination abilities.
• Willingness to travel to provinces and customer sites as needed.
