Legal Associate – Corporate & Banking

About the role

ANN & ASSOCIATES LAW FIRM is seeking a full‑time Legal Associate to join its Corporate & Banking team in Phnom Penh. You will support SMEs, digital startups and entrepreneurial clients by providing practical legal advice and drafting commercial documents.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents for corporate and startup clients.
• Lead legal research, prepare memoranda, opinions and support case strategy and transaction planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues in law, accounting, tax and IT to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare presentations, reports and assist with compliance and regulatory filings.
• Maintain organized case files, manage timelines and communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate, commercial or startup‑related legal work.
• Law degree (LL.M is a plus) and eligibility or intention to obtain local bar admission.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Khmer or other languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated interest in SMEs, digital startups and entrepreneurship in Cambodia.
