Junior Officer – Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Officer to join our finance team. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices and staff claims, maintaining bank reconciliations, and supporting tax and audit activities. This entry‑level position offers exposure to a range of accounting functions in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify supplier invoices and staff claims, ensuring all supporting documents are complete before payment.
• Maintain daily bank and account reconciliation records using Excel.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendor and internal stakeholder queries related to payments, invoices, and reconciliations, responding within two business days and resolving most cases within three days.
• Organise and file accounting documents both digitally and physically.
• Prepare tax‑related documentation for invoices, including withholding tax, VAT, TOS and FBT.
• Assist with basic journal entries such as accruals and pre‑payments under senior supervision.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to finance team members as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or advanced coursework in finance/accounting).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Fresh graduate or limited professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and strong organisational abilities.
